                               RESOLUTION NO. 19612
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE 
                   CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, 
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN AGREEMENT WITH NORFOLK 
                   SOUTHERN CORPORATION, MORE PARTICULARLY 
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. 
                   72, HIXSON COLLECTION SYSTEM, FOR A TOTAL 
                   CONSIDERATION OF THREE THOUSAND, EIGHT 
                   HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($3,826.00), WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and the City Finance 
       Officer be and are hereby authorized to execute and attest, 
       respectively, an Agreement with Norfolk Southern Corporation 
       concerning a sanitary sewer easement (City of Chattanooga, TN 
       120-3-252 C.N.O. & T.P. Railway V-1 Tenn/63 #7) near Sandswitch 
       Road, Contract No. 72, Hixson Collection System, for a one-time 
       license fee of $3,250.00, plus $576.00 for an optional insurance 
       fee, for a total consideration of $3,826.00, without prior 
       approval.
